James Michael Scott Haynie, 32, of Columbia went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2018. Services celebrating Scott’s life will be held at Columbia First Assembly Church, 1100 North 7th Street, at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018. Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until time for the service.

Scott was born December 10, 1985, in Columbia to Jim and Heidi Karnes Haynie. He was employed with Machens Automotive. Scott was a loving son that loved his family especially his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his parents, Jim Haynie (Cheryl) and Heidi Hall (Roger) all of Columbia; siblings, Angelee Geisler (Matt), Emilee Haynie (Mytch), Jacob Hall, and Jason Huddleston all of Columbia, Heather Millsap (Brandon) of Sedalia; his girl friend, Darian Richards of Columbia; his grandparents, Shirley Hoss of Newburg, Everett and Mary Jo Brinley of De Soto, Wayne and Jean Sapp of Columbia and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to further the recovery efforts of the brave men and women in our community.
