Lonnie’s Obituary Lonnie Maurice Tolbert, 55, of Ashland, KY passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born July 19, 1963 in Ashland, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alene and Don Battise.

He was a member of Christ Temple Church, Ashland, KY and worked in the food industry. Lonnie was a big UNC fan and graduated from Ironton High School. He is survived by three daughters, Rachelle Bare, Courtney Reems and Addie Tolbert; one son J’Sean Tolbert; three grandchildren; two sisters Debra Deer and Ginna Battise; one brother Don Battise (Amy); several nieces and nephews; host of cousins and Church family; and special friend John Crockrel, Sr. Funeral service will be conducted 12 noon Friday, May 24, 2019 at Christ Temple Church, Ashland, KY with Pastor J.D. Crockrel officiating.

Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, KY. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
