Lora Jane (Ward) Kirk, 62, of Litchfield, IL, passed away at 11:27 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Heritage Health: Therapy & Senior Care in Litchfield, IL. Lora was born October 13, 1955 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Bobby Gene and Betty (Haggard) Ward. She worked as a CNA at Heritage Health in Litchfield, and also bartended at Doggies in Benld and Brown’s in Gillespie.

Lora was a former member of the Staunton Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing karaoke, dancing at the Worden Y, and listening to Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Elvis. Lora was a mother to many, raising her siblings, children, and grandchildren.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father. Lora is survived by her mother, Betty Ward of Taylor Springs, IL; daughters, Bonnie Kirk, Kimberly (Randy) Gross, and Brandy (fiancé, Casey Smith) Kirk all of Litchfield, IL; grandchildren, Shyrea Powell, Angelous McCollum, Tamaree Petty, Payton Gross, Kayveon Kirk, Shane Martin, Ashton Roach, Zero Nance, and Casey Smith, Jr.; great granddaughter, Delilah Cunningham; siblings, Jerry Ward of St. Louis, MO, Larry (Vickie) Ward of FL, Stevie Ward of St. Louis, MO, Bobby Ward of Livingston, IL, and Vicky (Gary) Alexander of Reno, IL; aunt, Vicky Harper of St. Louis, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
