Obituary for Loraine Glass Loraine Geilenkirchen Glass, 82, of Edmonds, Washington, formerly of Fort Collins, was called home to be with our Lord on June 27, 2018. Loraine was born in Lindsay, Nebraska on January 8, 1936 and moved to Fort Collins with her family in 1938. She attended St. Joseph School and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1953, after which she went to work for the telephone company.

On September 2, 1954, Loraine married James Glass and they began a family together. They moved to the state of Washington in 1959 and over the years they were active in their local Catholic church. Loraine was always fun to be around.

She loved her family and enjoyed having all of them over for get-togethers. She also enjoyed 4-H, sewing, baking cookies, and was a huge Seahawks fan. She was a lucky gambler and liked to play bingo and go to the casinos.

Loraine is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Glass; her children June Ann McNiff of Washington, Katherine Blount of Indiana, Timothy Glass and Andrew Glass both of Washington; siblings Adella Andrijeski of Kersey, Glen G. (Trudi) Geilenkirchen of Fort Collins, Earl (Fr. Jude) Geilenkirchen of Denver, and Dean (Jo) Geilenkirchen of Windsor; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Clara Geilenkirchen of Fort Collins; infant son, Thomas Glass; son Martin Glass of Washington.

A Memorial Mass will take place at 7:00 pm, September 17th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Collins. Upcoming Events Memorial Mass , SEP 17.
