Lorenza Mercedes Angeles, 65 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with her family by her side. Lorenza was born and raised in Moca, Dominican Republic and came to Perth Amboy 41 years ago. She was a Home Health Aid for many years.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perth Amboy. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Narciso Camacho.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years Miguel; beloved mother of Miguel Angel, Michelle and Jinelle Angeles; cherished daughter of Amparo Taveras; dear sister of Angela Bencosme, Ana Julia Bencosme, Amparo Guzman, Isabel, Filomena, Roberta, Laura, Jose, Manuel, Rafael, Domingo, Leoncio and Felix Rodriguez; adored grandmother of Anthony, Jamelle, Jaya and Jael. We begin to leave on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.

Visiting is on Sunday from 2 ~ 6 pm.
