OBITUARY Lorenzo Hernandez Contreras September 5, 1931 – December 18, 2018 Lorenzo (Larry) Hernandez Contreras, 87, of Irving Texas, passed away on December 18, 2018 in Irving. Funeral service date and time are to be announced. Lorenzo was born in Marquez, Texas to Felix and Petra Contreras on September 5, 1931.

He married Mary Pilar Sosa on June 20, 1956. He owned and operated Amex Pest Control for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the National Guard and the United States Air Force.

While in the USAF he was a Medical Technician on the 22nd Crash Boat Rescue Unit, and Staff Sergeant in the 789th Radar Squad. He retired in 1966 after 16 years of service to his country. Lorenzo is preceded in death by his wife Mary Contreras and daughter Rebecca Contreras.

Lorenzo is survived by his children: Olga Alexander, Lawrence Contreras, Carrie Parks and Steve, David Contreras and Jenni, Russell Contreras, Perry Contreras and Deborah, his brother Manuel Contreras and sister Hortencia (Tencha), his grandchildren: Philip Krawczyk, Britni Neufang, Ryan Contreras, Brooke Hueso, Elizabeth Regenold, Blake Contreras, Shelby Parks, Christopher Parks, Joshua Contreras, Ryan Contreras, Macey Contreras and Amanda Williams. His great grandchildren: Mia Krawczyk, Kai Krawczyk, Nick Neufang, Jake Neufang, Brody Regenold, and Adrianna Williams.
