Lorie Marie Ashman, 58, passed away, March 9, 2019 at the Mercy house in Endicott surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children, Emily Jane Ashman, Joseph Michael Ashman and Dana Christine Ashman, her fiancee` Charlie Hogan, parents Fredrick and Emma Nelson, her grandson Nathan Hoblin, one brother Fred (Cheryl) Nelson, niece and nephew Sara and Dan Nelson and many dear friends. Lorie worked at the Price Chopper in Chenango bridge for 39 years before retiring.

She loved bowling, singing, camping and the great outdoors. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and an artist who loved to draw and create art. She will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial celebration will be held 3:00 pm Saturday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 216 Kattelville Rd, Binghamton, NY. The family will receive family and friends at the church from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. In honor of Lorie please make a memorial contribution to Mercy House to thank them for the kind and compassionate care they provided.
