Lorraine J. Wayne age 99 of Silver Lake, WI. Died October 5, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Home for the Aging. She was born in Kenosha, WI.

On June 15, 1919. The daughter of late Ernest and Ann (Cunningham) Dittler. On Sept.

27, 1940 she was united in marriage to Michael J. Wayne who preceded her in death on March 2, 1992. Lorraine has been a lifelong resident of Kenosha County area. She was educated in the Kenosha schools and Kenosha High School.

Lorraine’s greatest passion was gardening and was able to make anything grow. She enjoyed all crafts especially crocheting and made many Afghans over the years. Lorraine loved to cook and bake for her family.

Lorraine loved to attend all her grandson’s ball games and being their biggest fan. She is survived by her two children Richard W. Wayne of Randall, WI. and Sharon Kerkman of Silver Lake, WI.

Grandmother to Jason, Paul (Sasha), and Timothy Kerkman, Kim Wayne, Bryan Wayne and Ryan Roberts. She was preceded in death by her sons Ronny Wayne and Robert Wayne, sisters LaVerne Sorenson and Margaret Snell, brothers Jack Dittler and Elmer Snell and grandson Lance Wayne. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday October 11, 2018 at 11:00AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church 30100 Wilmot Rd.

Wilmot, WI. Visitation will be from 9:30 until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park in Kenosha, WI.
