Lou’s Obituary Lou Ellen Christian, of Pauls Valley, passed away April 26, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years. Lou Ellen Wood was born September 9, 1945 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Aletha (Simpson) Wood and Glen Wood. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Aletha Wood; 4 brothers and 6 sisters, Clyde Wood, Thelma M. Darter, Orvile D. Wood, Glen L. Wood, Jr, Ruth A. Smith, Betty J. Record, John S. Wood, Matilda S. Kovach, Patricia J. Young and Linda D. Victor. Her surviving family include her children, William Lasley of Pauls Valley; Daniel Lasley and wife, Rachel, of Gilbert, Arizona; Amy Cole and husband, Brad, of Oklahoma City; and Royce Christian of Pauls Valley; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; her best friend, Verna Loper of Pauls Valley; one brother, Kenneth R. Wood of Pauls Valley; and one sister, Norma J. Pitz of Richland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Neil Barlow.
