Saiz, age 71, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 27, 2018 surrounded by his Loving Family. Louie was born in Mountainair, NM on June 15, 1947 to Vicente and Magdalena Saiz. Louie Saiz was the fifth born out of six children.

Louie was a professional paint and body man. Louie worked at many different paint and body shops. He owned and worked at the Family shop.

Louie enjoyed the outdoors from playing softball, fishing, camping and hunting. Louie will be greatly missed by all his family and friends who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents Vicente and Magdalena Saiz brothers: Joe and Max Saiz.

Louie is Survived by his wife of almost 49 years Frances Saiz Children: Sonia Saiz and Fiancee Ben Sedillo, Tanya Maestas and husband Porfirio, Louie Saiz Jr. all from Albuquerque, NM. His only sister Susie Garcia and Husband Albert, Brothers: Augustine and Michael Saiz all from Albuquerque, NM. Grandchildren: Xavier Martinez Sr, Naomi Frias, Meriah Maestas, Joe Salazar, Mercedez Maestas, Alura Montano Saiz, Mernique Maestas, Merlyn Maestas Great Grandchildren: Xavier Martinez Jr, Evan Martinez, Amiliana Salazar, Porfirio Marez and one on the way.

Louie Had eight Godchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 3, 2019 at 9:00 am also at the church.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Porfirio Maestas, Ray Jaramillo, Max Saiz, Victor Martinez, Angelo Lucero and Jose Saiz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Xavier Martinez and Merlyn Maestas. Thanks to all the staff at Amber Care.
