Obituary for Louis “Bud” W. Nehring Louis W. (Bud) Nehring, age 85, of Poy Sippi, WI, passed away on Monday, December 24th, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Tustin, WI on February 28, 1933, a son of the late William and Gertrude (Stumpner) Nehring. Louis worked as a shaper operator at Simons Juvenile Product in New London, until his retirement.

He married Doreen Zuge on June 6, 1956 in Weyauwega, WI. She preceded him in death on March 18, 1974. Louis was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Poy Sippi.

Louis enjoyed woodworking, dancing polkas and waltzes, reading, mowing the lawn on his riding lawnmower, hunting, fishing, dartball and camping at his 20 acres. Survivors include Special Friend & Sweetheart: Flo Brown, Poy Sippi, WI; Children: Kim (Fiancé – Allen Howen) Nehring, Amherst, WI; Steven Nehring, New London, WI; Robert (Kathy) Nehring, New London, WI; Grandchildren: Aaron Hulse, Amherst, WI; Luke Nehring, New London, WI; Kyle (Rebekah) Hulse, Stoughton, WI; Joseph Nehring, New London, WI; Great Grandchildren: Elliot Hulse, Stoughton, WI; Caroline Hulse, Stoughton, WI; Sister: Catherine Roemer, Weyauwega, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife – Doreen and a sister – Gloria Roemer.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Poy Sippi at 11 AM on Saturday, January 5th, 2019. Interment will be held at a later date in Brushville Cemetery, Town Bloomfield, Waushara Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9 AM until the time of the service at the church.
