Louis’ Obituary Louis Girolami Jr, of Bluemont Virginia, passed away on Saturday May 4, 2019. His death was the result of a car accident. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 10 at 4 pm at Great Country Farms in Bluemont, Virginia.

Mr. Girolami was born on July 9, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Louis and Mary Ann Girolami. He was 60 years old. He graduated from Broad Run High School with the class of 1977.

He was a self-employed tile and stone mason. On June 14, 1980, Louis married his high school sweetheart, Jeanne Guay, at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church in Sterling Virginia. They were married just shy of 39 years.

The couple had two children and many grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, his daughter, Virginia Newsome, Round Hill VA, a son, Dominic Girolami, and his life partner, Heather Hutchison of Harpers Ferry WV, six grandchildren, Savannah Newsome age 7, Logan Girolami, age 2, Cam Myers age 8, Paige Harris of Henrico, VA, Rachel Newsome of Richmond, VA and Dawson Newsome of Richmond VA, brother, Silvio Girolami of Hillsboro VA, sister, Paula James of Round Hill VA, and brother, Tony Girolami and his wife, Angela Pittard-Girolami of McDonough, Ga. He leaves behind a large and beloved extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends, too numerous to count.

Louis was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman, and he and his wife especially enjoyed trout fishing together in wild trout-streams all over the country. Most of all, he loved spending quiet time with his family and friends, his grandchildren and his dogs. His cremated remains will be interred at Cool Springs Natural Cemetery in Bluemont, VA.
