Beloved husband for 65 years to Joan Shirley Volberding. Loving father of the late Louis Jr (Cherry), James (Annette), Carol (Thomas) Keyes and Nancy (Jonathen) Limp.

Cherished grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 15. Dear uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ Church – Des Plaines appreciated.

Visitation at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave. , Des Plaines, IL from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26th. Funeral service Thursday 10:00 a.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home with interment to follow at Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge, IL.
