Louis J. “Hoek” Hartjes, age 82, beloved husband of Ria M. Brouwer Hartjes, loving father of Harry (Carmen). Louiios, Diane, Bruce, Jeffrey, Denis and Edwards Hartjes, loving grandfather of Caitlin, Loek, Stefaan, Riley, Bastiaan, Amanda and Alexis. Great-grandfather of Ezra, Eliza and Miles.

Fond brother of Harry (Shirley), Gerard (the late Ria) and Alphons (Loes) Hartjes. Visitation Thursday, July 19 from 3 to 8pm at the John E. Maloney Funeral Home ,1359 W. Devon Avenue, Chicago. The family and friends will meet Friday, July 20 for Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 2324 W. Chase Avenue, Interment All Saints Cemetery, In lieu of flowers contributions to Catholic Charities of Chicago,721 N. LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60654 appreciated.
