Louis Joseph Grisafi, 64, of Montrose, died on Monday, February 18, 2019, in Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Darlene (Doria) Grisafi. Born September 5, 1954 in Binghamton, New York, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Fontini) Grisafi.

Lou honorably served his country in the US Air Force. He worked for McDonald Douglas in Saudi Arabia and owned and operated several companies to include D&L Services. Lou was a member of the HAM Radio Club in Tunkhannock and enjoyed HAM and speaking with different people on the other end of the receiver.

He loved helping people in any way he could and was known by all for his generosity. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife. Surviving in addition to his wife is one son: Louis Grisafi ( Gerri) of Gibson; two daughters: Maria Price (Ordie) of Lenox and Bonnie Freeman (Austin) of Montrose; step daughters, Joy Inells of Santa Rosa, NM, Lacy Forkal of Scranton, and Olivia Speck (Mark) of Scranton; step sons, Peter Inells of Cheyenne, WY, and Timothy Forkal (Erica) of Springville; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ignacio Grisafi. The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, March 9th from 9am – 10:45am at Bridgewater Church, 10142 PA-167, Montrose, PA 18801. A memorial service will follow at 11am at the church with services by Pastor Bob Kadlecik.

Interment will take place at a later date in Lynn Cemetery, Springville.
