South Weymouth – Louis M. Montefusco, 63, passed away in Weymouth, after a brief illness. He was born in July 1955 to the (late) Louis A. Montefusco and Gwendolyn (Hopkins) (Montefusco) Sansevero. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Ann (Staples) (Nickerson) Montefusco.

He also leaves behind his son Tony Montefusco of New York, Cassandra Montefusco of Bridgewater, Sarah Montefusco, and Aaron Montefusco, of Bridgewater. He also leaves behind four step-daughters, Tiffany Nickerson, and husband Chris Jeffries of Texas, Roberta Rivera and husband Miguel of Texas, Caitlin Littlefield and husband Dan of Hawaii and Rachel Nickerson also of Hawaii, and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Faith Montefusco.

Louis was a graduate of Braintree High School Class of 1973. He was a former employee of Boston Financial Data Services. Louis loved listening to the Beatles, oldies and rock and roll, Magnum PI, was a fan of Star Wars and the Star Trek series.

He also was a self-described “political junkie”. A visitation service will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Friday January 25th, 2019 at the Braintree Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Chapels at 516 Washington St. Braintree, MA.
