Louis A. “Butch” Grass of Drexel Hill, Pa passed away Friday evening, March 1, 2019 at the Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Philadelphia. He was born January 15, 1943 in Philadelphia to Gertrude Weckerly and Louis A. Grass. Growing up in Philadelphia he graduated from Overbrook High School.

After graduation he enlisted and served in the US Navy. Butch is a retired Philadelphia Police Officer serving in Fairmount Park for 26 years. In his free time Butch loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Butch was predeceased by his wife Christina R. (nee Rossillo) Grass. He is the father of John Grass (Mariana), Angela Grass (Wayne Perkins) and the late Tina and Louis C. Grass, grandfather of Louis, C.J., Sarah, Riley, Abigail, Evie and brother of Barbara Carapella (Buzzy). Family and friends may call 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM followed by a Liturgy of the Word Service at 12 noon in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown, Pa 19083.

Interment is in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
