(Betourney) Robichaud, age 100, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Leo J. Robichaud, passed away on February 3, 2019 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Louise was born on December 28, 1918 in Winchendon, Massachusetts to the late Eugene and Marie (Lavoie) Betourney. She was the youngest of five children: Eugene, Robert, Leo and Eva.

Louise is survived by her devoted children, Anne D’Orio (Frank) of Stratford, CT and Leo T. Robichaud (Susan) of California, her 6 cherished grandchildren: Wendi Scott (Robert Rees), Laurie Houseknecht (Kent), Michelle Johnson, Tracey Hobrath (Matt), Kelly Robichaud, David Robichaud (Mary), her step-grandson, Greg D’Orio, 9 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. During her career she worked as a bookkeeper in Winchendon at Baxter D. Whitney, the Market Credit Union and the Town Treasures Office until she retired. After retirement she spent her winters in Florida for over 30 years where she enjoyed bowling, playing cards and playing the organ.

During the last decade she resided locally with her daughter and son-in-law. Friends may greet Louise’s family on Thursday, February 7th from 5-8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of Peace Church 651 Stratford Road, Lordship.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in memory of Louise to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
