Of Waupaca, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Bethany Home. She was born in Saxon, WI on September 25, 1938 to the late Louis and Olive (Shoemaker) Bott. Louise was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, soap operas and crocheting. Her favorite job was working at Zwicker’s Knitting Mill. She will be sadly missed by her children: George Velte of Appleton; Keith Velte of Appleton; Marie “Missy” (Mick Ertl) Velte of Scandinavia; Hope (Richard “Rick”) Swartwout of Waupaca; grandchildren: Tad (Heather) Velte; Pamela Sieckert, Nicholas (Dacia) Sieckert, Brett and Hunter Swartwout, Niki (Aaron) Schoenecker, Jenn Swartwout; great grandchildren: Blake and Olivia Schoenecker, Brogan Sieckert, Myles Velte, nieces: Lorrenda Fritz, Ludana (Leala Dean) Brey, Lagena (Paul Lepri) Brey, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, son, Richard, grandson, Travis Sieckert, sister, Ann Brey and brother, Larry. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
