Louise’s Obituary Louise Herring Donham, age 91, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019. Born January 19, 1928 in Monticello, she was reared in the Montongo community in Drew County and graduated from Monticello High School. Her parents were the late Leslie Herring and Sallie Raines Herring.

Louise married James Edward Donham on August 14, 1948, and they moved to Pine Bluff in 1953. Mr. Donham predeceased her on January 5, 1996. Mrs. Donham was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church.

She loved her Sunday school class and read her Bible every day. She had been a volunteer for the United Way and was a member of the “Strumming Seniors” ukulele band. She will be remembered as a loving person who greeted everyone with a smile, enjoyed sewing and cooking Sunday dinner, and taking care of her grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death are a son, William Richard “Dicky” Donham; and sisters, Christine Sims, Helen Jeffrey, and Beth Buck. Survivors include two sons, James E. “Jim” Donham, Jr. (Joanett) and Dale Donham (Sheryl), all of Pine Bluff; her grandchildren, Melissa Welch (Chris), Natalie Donham (Nyle Koonce), Brittany Downs (Jacob), Kady Donham, Kristin Bass, and William Donham; and three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Oliver, and George Welch. Louise’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019, 1:30 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brothers Todd Howard and Garrett Fox officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Watson Chapel Baptist Church, 5514 Pinnacle Lane, Pine Bluff, AR 71603; or Arkansas Children’s Hospital, #1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
