Obituary for Mr. Lowell Gene Kennamer Sr Lowell Kennamer, Sr., a lifelong resident of the Beech Creek Community in Guntersville, died Monday, April 9, 2018. He was 89. He was born December 10, 1928, to Jasper “Doc” Kennamer and Hattie Pearl Alexander Kennamer in Guntersville, Alabama.

He and his wife, Ramona Halbrooks Kennamer, recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Halbrooks Kennamer; his son, Davy Kennamer; his sister, Jane Tinsley (James); his granddaughter, Gena Moore; his sisters-in-law, Rose Starkey and Kathy Halbrooks; his daughter-in-law, Judy Vest Kennamer. He is preceded in death by his son, Lowell Gene Kennamer, Jr.; his parents, Doc and Hattie Kennamer; his brothers-in-law, Gene Halbrooks and J.D. Starkey.
