Lowell H. Bobert, 84, of Wausau, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 7, 1934, in Wausau, to the late Hugo and Caroline (Marquardt) Bobert. Lowell was a life-long resident of Wausau.

He married the former Jean Radke at Trinity Lutheran Church in 1955. Family was most important to Lowell and he worked hard for over 50 years to support them. Lowell loved to be outdoors with his family and children, especially while coaching baseball or as a Scout leader.

He was also a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as the President of the congregation. Survivors include his wife, Jean; sons, Steven (Debra) Bobert of Wausau, and children, Nicole (Brian) Anderson, Brandon Bobert, and Tyler (Emma) Bobert; Brian (Mary) Bobert of Eagle River; and Clark (Sarah) Bobert of Menomonee Falls, and children, Bailee Bobert and Cody Bobert; and three great-grandchildren, Charles, Kira, and Thomas Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugo and Caroline Bobert; parents-in-law, E. Harold (Ruth) Radke; and sisters, Myrtle (Ara) and Beatrice (Eugene).

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Ave. , Wausau, with Rev. Zach Holdorf officiating.

Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Restlawn Memorial Park, town of Texas. You may sign the family guestbook at www.
