Mr. Lowell Wayne Teague, 80, of Teague Town Road, Taylorsville, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Teague was born October 13, 1938 in Catawba County, the son of the late Clayton Marcus Teague and Hessie Presler Teague. He had worked in the furniture industry and was a member of Fellowship Advent Christian Church, which he enjoyed.

He loved antiques and collecting marbles and enjoyed racing. He loved remising with ol’ friends. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: three brothers, Grant Teague, Joe Teague and Dan Teague.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife, Martha Bowman Teague; three daughters, Paula Kerley and husband, Guy, of Taylorsville, Lynn Craig and husband, Tommy, of Hudson, Renee Teague of Morganton; a brother, Donnie Teague and wife, Myra, of the Bethlehem Community; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special caregivers, Travis Harrington, Jonathan and Sheree Fox. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home of Chapel. Pastor David Ross will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Catawba Regional Hospice for all their wonderful help. Memorials may be made to: Fellowship Advent Christian Church or Catawba Regional Hospice.
