Lu Taylor Childersburg, AL – Mr. Lu Taylor, 93, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at his residence. He was the founder and owner of Velcon Filters Inc. for 55 plus years. Lu had a love for sailing the seas.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jessica Light Taylor; three sons, David C. Taylor of Darby, MT, Richard C. Taylor of Darby, MT, William S. Lawrence III of Orange City, FL; 5 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www. radneysmith.com.
