Lukas J. Scurlock, 25, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. Lukas enjoyed many sports and played baseball through high school. His favorite sport to watch was basketball, both college and professional.

Lukas was an active runner; often mentioning it brought him great peace. He was deeply loved by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, John W. Scurlock and O. Cindie Scurlock.

He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Zachary (Casey) Scurlock; sister, Angel (Rookie) Colliton; brother, Kurtis Scurlock; nieces, Alexandra, Shianna and Shandi; nephew, Gage; aunts, Contina (Tim) Savage. O. Cecilia (Bill) Christian; uncle, Conwae (Theresa) Myers; cousins, Christina (David) Laswell, Monica (Arthur) Christian, Sean (Taryn and Phoenix) Davis, Kyle Davis, Nic (Breanna) Savage and Noah Savage among many relatives. A memorial gathering will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on June 1, 2019 at O. R. WOODYARD CO.

CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to, House of Hope, 1034 Harrisburg Pike, Columbus, Ohio, 43223 or www. hofhope.org.
