On September 1, 2018 Luther Eugene Oates devoted father of Shawn Tracey Oates, Dayna Lynne Crider, Kendall Carol Leigh Battaglini, Nancy Roberta Oates and Stuart Randall Oates, Sr.; dear brother of Elizabeth Farley. Also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Catholic prayer service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Es, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday at 11:30 am.

Visiting hours on Wednesday 10 am – 11:30 am. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers.
