OBITUARY Luverne N. LACKEY August 14, 1935 – December 16, 2018 Play Tribute Movie PELL CITY – Funeral Service for Luverne Newsome Lackey, age 83, will be Wednesday, December 19 at 12:00 Noon at the Munford Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Munford.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Ms. Lackey passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; parents, Lewis & Jane Newsome; brothers, Sonny & Huey Newsome; sister, Rebecca Newsome Richardson & Jimmy Richardson.

She is survived by her sons, Barry (Linda) Lackey, Floyd Richard (Elaine) Lackey; daughter, Linda Gaye Deerman Lackey; grandchildren, Amber, Crystal, Micheal, David, Stephen, Chris, Brian; great-grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Amelia, Abbey, Emily, Brody, Scott, Shawn, Emma, Easton, Victoria, Olivia, Jackson, Carsen, Carleigh, Jaylon, Ryker, Miracle; brothers, Dale (Kim) Newsome, Joe Larry (Linda) Newsome. She was a kind, caring and loving person to everyone she came into contact with. Heaven has just received a beautiful angel.

She will be missed here on earth. Special thanks to Brenda Wills who lived with Luverne the last year and really showed support and love. Condolences may be offered to the Lackey family online at www.
