Ms. Lynn Coleman, 50, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at University Hospital in Augusta Georgia following an extended illness. Ms. Coleman was born, January 1, 1968 in Swainsboro, Ga. to Lawton D. Wheeler and Emma Lenora Love Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father. Ms. Coleman was a lifelong resident of Swainsboro. She loved riding horses and competing in barrel racing where she won many trophies.

While in school, Ms. Coleman was very active in JROTC and the SHS Band of Gold. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cross stitching and looking after her cats. Survivors include her mother, Lenora L. (Doc) Johnson; sons, William (Sarah) Coleman, Jr. of Kite, GA, Justin Ryan Coleman of Twin City, GA; brothers, David Wheeler of Swainsboro, GA, Carl (Sandy)Wheeler of Dellwood, GA, Shannon Johnson of Illinois, Shane (Cerica) Johnson of Macon GA; sisters, Cindy Johnson of Jacksonville, FL, Kim Schrader (Dood) of Swainsboro, GA, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 with Rev. Morris Brantley and Rev. Glenn Kerney officiating.

Interment will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to service. Pallbearers are B.J. Conley, Robbie Wheeler, Wayne Coleman, and Elec Wheeler Condolences may be expressed at www.
