Obituary for Mrs. Lynn Margaret Patterson PATTERSON, Mrs. Lynn M. Parchment, MI Died Friday morning, May 4, 2018, at her residence. Lynn was born January 7, 1947 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, a daughter of Henry and Marguerite (Truchon) McLeod.

She was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Stryker Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 2006. Lynn was an avid golfer and loved being on the course with friends and family. However, there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her grandchildren.

She never missed their events and would do anything to make sure they were happy. Whether it was a school performance, or a sporting event, they could always count on her presence in the stands. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael McLeod.

On April 13, 1969, she was united in marriage to Richard A. Patterson who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Jeffrey (Kimberly Kreeger) Patterson and John (Rebecca) Patterson, all of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren, Gabe, Riley, Lukas, Darby, and Maddison. 4 sisters, Shelley Warner of Baldwin, MI, Barbara (Andrew) Bisig of Portage, Colleen (Jerry Johnson) Draves of Mattawan, and April McLeod of Parchment, MI; 2 brothers, Steve (Henrietta) McLeod and Greg (Susan) McLeod all of Portage; and a multitude of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 10th, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. A private burial will take place at a later date.
