Lynn’s Obituary Lynn O. Houptley, 77, of Palmer Twp. , PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in Gracedale Nursing Home. Lynn was born in Maxatawny Twp.

, PA, a son of the late Charles E. and Hazel G. (Eckert) Houptley. Lynn was married to the former Mary Ann Hiller, with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage last September. He was owner of Lynn’s Garage from 1969 to 1999 when Lynn, James Regina and son Robert Houptley merged to form Pats Brake Service Inc./Lynn’s Garage.

He was also co-founder of I.M. Check Emissions Test Center and co-founder of AMER Auto Parts. Lynn enjoyed stock car racing, watching his grandchildren play sports, hunting trips to Wyoming and Colorado, camping, and fishing trips to Alaska and Canada. He was a dedicated worker.

Lynn was a member of F & AM Masonic Lodge 152 of Easton, Eagles Hunting Camp, and Big Ridge Hunting Camp Inc. In addition to his wife, Lynn is survived by a son Robert Houptley and wife Wendy of Lower Nazareth; a daughter Kim Houptley and companion Fran Hunt of Palmer Twp. ; a brother Larry Houptley and wife Barbara of Williams Twp. ; grandchildren Logan Houptley, Jeff and Ali Imboden, Matthew, Johanna and Nicholas Hunt, and Katie Whitaker; and six great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a sister Cherié Houptley, and a brother Wayne Houptley. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp. ), followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm in the funeral home.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
