Macon’s Obituary Macon C.J. Davis, 77, of Emmett entered eternal life on Friday December 28, 2018. He was born on August 1, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Macon and Marietta Davis. He married Jannifer Campbell on June 23, 1962 and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage.

Macon served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He then went on to join the Air National Guard where he became a Senior Master Sergeant and held a long-standing career as an aircraft mechanic until his retirement. When he was wasn’t working, he was devoted to his family.

Macon is survived by his wife, Jannifer; his son, Macon C.J. Davis Jr.; two daughters, Michelle Davis and Bernadine Phillips; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers; and three sisters. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were made by Kammeraad-Merchant Funeral Home.
