Maggie Eloise Dawson Ross, 64 of Easton, departed this life on Mon. , Nov. 5, 2018 at Talbot Hospice House in Easton, Maryland.

Born April 27, 1954, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Mary Liza McKinney Dawson. Maggie was educated in the public schools of Talbot County. She was employed as a Domestic Worker for several families within Talbot County and various canning factories with in the area also.

Maggie gave her life to Christ at Faith Apostolic Worship under the leadership of Pastor Charles Deshields. She also would attend worship with her daughter at Soul Saving Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Sandra Moore. Maggie rededicated her life back to the Lord in November of 2014 and was filled with the gift of the precious Holy Ghost and lived there after a life to help others come out of darkness into God’s marvelous light.

Her hobbies were crossword puzzles, reading the Bible, loved to travel, cook and be around her family. Maggie was a free spirit. To know her was to love her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Henry Ross and a daughter, Corrine Dawson. Maggie is survived by her children, Chantay Dawson, Michelle Dawson Woolford (Joseph Woolford Jr.), Andre Dawson and Dondrell Dawson Wilson; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Jeanette Dawson, Donald Dawson, John Dawson, Faye Smallwood and Ida Kay Jackson; two aunts, Sarah Lake; two uncles, Silas Dawson and Joe Bell; a special niece, Takiesha Baynard and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, Joyce Wright, Michelle Mackey, Annette Crawford, Naomi Wallace and Gloria Ross and other friends.
