Mahlon’s Obituary Mahlon W. McCoy, 89, of Dillsburg, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. He was born September 20, 1929, in Brownfield, PA the son of the late Albert F. and Lois (Hauger) McCoy. Mahlon was a retired Contracting Officer for the U.S. Military.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mahlon was a member of the Bristol Lodge #25, F. & A.M., Zembo Temple, Harrisburg Consistory, Northern York County Historical and Preservation Society, Gettysburg Region of the AACA, Friends of Gettysburg and the Dillsburg American Legion Post #26. He is survived by his wife, Carol J. (DuShole) McCoy; three sons, Lance F. of Dillsburg, Mahlon M. and his wife Fiona of New Bridge, Ireland, Timothy C. and his wife Joann of Dillsburg; four grandchildren, Sean, Shane, Roisin, Lilah; and one step-granddaughter, Melanie.

Mahlon was preceded in death by a son, Randall J. McCoy. A viewing will be held Monday, May 20, 2019, from 6-8 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. Burial with full military honors will be held in the Ft.

Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
