Maida “Rue” Roethemeyer, 87 of Paducah passed away Friday October 12, 2018 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Calvert City, KY. She is survived by her husband Robert Roethemeyer; son, Lonnie (Pat) Waddy of Reidland. ; daughter, Donetta (Larry) Simmons of Smithland; step-daughter, Kathy (David) Roberts of Benton, KY.

; two step-sons Bryan Roethemeyer of Paducah and Robert Roethemeyer Jr. of Nashville, TN. ; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren;six step grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday October 19.

2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with funeral services following at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Glover officiating. Burial will be at later date.
