Malinda’s Obituary Malinda Erma Reinke, age 91 of Lewisville, passed away on February 11, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2 PM at Salem Lutheran Church, 109 3rd St SE, Madelia with Rev. Greg Volbrecht officiating.

Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery- Fieldon. Arrangements are entrusted to Zaharia Family Funeral Home in Truman.

www. ZahariaFamilyFuneral.com Malinda was born January 12, 1928 in rural Lewisville to Oscar and Emilia (Arndt) Knaak. She was the 6th of 7 children.

She attended school in rural Lewisville. She married Leo Reinke on December 25, 1947. Together they raised 3 children.

Malinda enjoyed cooking, fishing and gardening. She cherished times with family at the Lake. She loved Camping.

She was a member of Trinity Fieldon Lutheran Church, and was active in the ladies Aid. Malinda is survived by her husband of 71 years, Leo Reinke, of Living Meadows in Madelia; children, Jim Reinke of Lewisville and Sam (Jeanette) Reinke of Watertown; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Bridget) Reinke, Monica (Tom) Borlaug, Christopher (Abbey) Reinke, Alaina (Jason) Young and Joseph (Fiance Meagan) Reinke; 5 great-grandchildren, James, Philip, Molly, Marshall and Finnley; one brother, Oscar (Jane) Knaak Jr She will be missed by many cousins and other relatives as well as friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Philip Reinke, one sister and 5 brothers.
