Obituary for Manuel Duarte Print Manuel Duarte passed away peacefully on Thursday February 14, 2019 at the age of 89. He was born on April 23, 1929 in Hartford, CT. He leaves behind his beloved daughter Maria Alice Dacosta and his son-in-law Fernando Dacosta of Windsor.

He also leaves behind two loving grandsons and two great grand-daughters: Ricardo DaCosta, his wife Vanessa, their two daughters Caroleena and Cecilia of Ellington, and Marco DaCosta and his wife Kim, of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is survived by one brother and predeceased by a brother and a sister. He will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews.

Manuel was employed at Taylor and Fenn for many years and then Hartford Hospital for thirteen years, until he retired. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. We would like to thank the amazing staff at Genesis Kimberly Hall in Windsor for all their hard work and support.

Funeral procession will be Saturday, February 16, at 10:30 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave. , West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Entombment will be in Mt.

St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Saturday prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.
