He was a member of the Highway to Heaven Church and enjoyed attending church, working on cars, and watching Walking Dead. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Marilyn, 4 children Scott Stephens and wife Lara of Lowell, Arkansas, Brandy Sanders of Van Buren, Josh Stephens and wife Mary of Van Buren, and Nathen Stephens of Van Buren. 3 brothers Johnny and Shirlene Stephens of Roland, Robert and Violet Stephens of Van Buren, Perry and Barbara Stephens of Ft.

Smith, 2 sisters Louella Stephens of Ft. Smith, Linda Stephens of Ft. Smith and his best friend George Calomenopulos of Van Buren, and 15 grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, January 29,2019 at Lewis Roberts Funeral Chapel in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be after service.
