He is survived by his daughter, Maria Isabel Chavez; son, Marco Alfredo Munoz Jr.; brothers, Arturo Munoz, Hector Munoz, and Sergio Munoz; sisters, Emma Luevano, Alicia Briones, and Maria Elena Lopez; as well as his two grandchildren, Rebecca Munoz and Mauricio Munoz.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held the following day at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
