Marcos Duran Alejandro August 09, 1935 – January 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Marcos Duran Alejandro, age 83, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 9, 1935 in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Everardo Duran and Maria Alejandro. He is preceded in death by his son, Luis Duran Hernandez, sister, Lucila Duran Alejandro and brother, Claudio Duran Alejandro.

Marcos is survived by his wife, Maria H. Alejandro and children, Marco Antonio Duran Hernandez, Nancy Villarreal (Efrain Villarreal Sr.), Mirtha Mendez, Martin Duran Hernandez and Magda Barrientos, Grandchildren, Karen Graham, Efrain Villarreal Jr., Alex Duran, Kimberly Mendez, Yasmeen Duran, Ayleen Villarreal, Vicente Jr. Mendez, Luis Duran, Vanessa Duran, Brandon Barrientos, Great grandaughter, Isabella Ann Graham, Brothers, Emmanuel Duran Guajardo, Juan Duran Alejandro and Ramon Duran Alejandro. He is also survived by his companion of 30 years, Concepcion Centeno, numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Honored to be his pallbearers will be his son, Marco Antonio Duran and grandsons.

Visitation will be held Thursday January 31, 2019 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service of the holy rosary to begin at 7 pm in the evening. Holy Mass of funeral liturgy will be held on Friday February 1, 2019 at 10 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery, San Benito.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave.
