Obituary for Mardalee B. Dickinson Mardalee B. Dickinson, 95, of Welcome, Maryland, died at her home at Gunston Farm on August 24, 2018. Born on February 13, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Nina Norris Bishop and Ralph C. Bishop. Mrs. Dickinson worked at the National Institute of Health in Radiation Safety.

She was a member for over 50 years with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and served as Treasurer for several terms. Mrs. Dickinson enjoyed studying and reading history. She and her family are long time members of Old Durham Episcopal Church in Nanjemoy.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dickinson was preceded in death by her husband James Lovejoy Dickinson; son George C. Crane. She is survived by her children Ralph B. Dickinson, James Vernon Dickinson and Sherry C. Taylor; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Services and interment were held at Old Durham Episcopal Church, Nanjemoy, Maryland.
