Obituary for Margaret “Peggy” Bigler Margaret A. “Peggy” Bigler, 82, of Shippensburg, passed away, Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 16, 1935 in Shippensburg, PA. Peggy was a daughter of the late Wilbur B. and Mary J. Myers Holtry.

She was a member of Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg. Peggy retired from the Shippensburg Area School District where she was a secretary. She was a graduate of the former Shippensburg High School.

She is survived by four children, Gordon J. Bigler and his companion, Edna Miller, Robin A. Van Art, Tina M. (Timothy) Hamilton and Sara Jane (Marlin, Jr.) Johnson, all of Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Nathan J. Van Art, Jared A. Hamilton, Janay M. Hamilton and Emily K. Johnson; one sister, Beverly J. Holtry Morton of Chambersburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Allen Bigler who passed away September 27, 2018. Graveside services for family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.

Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Francis H. Norton and the Rev. Steven M. Livermore There will be no public viewing or visitation.
