Obituary for Mrs. Margaret Ann Holden Funeral services for Margaret Ann Holden, 70, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in the Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Winburn will officiate with music by her grandson, Cory Wright.

Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Holden died on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her home.

Born in Darlington Co., SC she was a daughter of the late Rollie Thompson and the late Mary Mincey Jernigan. She had previously worked for LEGGS and A.O. Smith. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family while going out to eat and traveling to the mountains.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Surviving are her daughters, Tammy Hancock (Donald) Page of Charlotte, NC, Charlene Hayden of McBee, SC; son, Charles Edward Hancock, Jr. of McBee, SC; grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Talia Wright, Jamie Hancock, Cory Wright, April Holden; sisters, Leona Thompson, Jeanette Oliver, Linda Jernigan, Evelyn Jernigan; brother, Rusty Thompson; 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Jernigan, Leo Thompson, Leonard Thompson.
