Margaret Anna “Gram” McPaul Ruff (nee Lingenhoel) Surrounded by family who loved and cherished her, our matriarch Margaret “Gram” Ruff, 95, passed away in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA on Monday, July 16, 2018. Gram was born on April 22, 1923 to Sylvia Thompson and George Lingenhoel. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers George and Edward, her first husband John “Jack” McPaul (1973), and second husband John “Jack” Ruff (2013).

Gram is survived… Read More » by her loving daughters Patricia (James) Fazio, Margaret (William) Schnarrenberger, and Gail Anderson and step-sons John Ruff and Michael Ruff, as well as her devoted 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Gram was our safe harbor, our lighthouse, our steadfast anchor. She left an impressive legacy and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at North Hills Rehabilitation and Health Center in Wexford for their loving care.
