Margaret Inez Wasden July 23, 1933 – January 04, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Margaret Inez Harrison Wasden, age 85 of Frisco City, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Wasden was born in Monroe County and had lived most of her life here. She was a member of Faith Lighthouse Apostolic Church of Frisco City.

Mrs. Wasden worked as a seamstress with Vanity Fair for nine years. She served as the senior pastors wife from 1980 to 2006 with her late husband, Pastor Robert Wasden, Jr Mrs. Wasden is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip David Harrison and Margaret Biggs Harrison; her husband, Rev.

Robert Wasden, Jr.; three sons-in-law, Will McInnis, Roger Stinson, and Charles Weaver; one brother and four sisters. Survivors include her sons, John Robert Wasden and wife Inez of Sevierville, TN and Rev. William Lydon Wasden and wife Emma of Frisco City, AL; five daughters, Margaret Wasden Stinson of Frisco City, AL, Betty Wasden Weaver of Frisco City, AL, Sharon Wasden Cunningham and husband Richard of Dawsonville, GA, Linda Wasden Harris and husband James of Frisco City, AL, and Sandra Renea Bartlett and husband Rick of Lenox, AL; one sister, Luvern Jordan of Fort Walton Beach, FL; twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Mark Smith and Elder Paul Massey officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
