Margaret Katherine, 88, passed away Feb. 27, 2019 in Tinley Park where she has resided since 1989. Survived by her loving family, children: Jason (Timothy Neylon) Emrich of Tinley Park, Carol (Douglas) Kirchman of Tinley Park; grandchildren: Steven (Jennifer) Kirchman, Kevin Kirchman; great-grandchildren: Madelynn and Konnor Kirchman.

She was preceded by her husband, Martin Emrich in 1988. Margaret was born and raised in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago. The Emrichs’ lived there many years with their family before moving to Oak Forest.

Mrs. Emrich enjoyed crafts, crocheting and needlework and loved the Chicago Cubs. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Maher Funeral Home, 17101 71st Ave. in Tinley Park (1 block east of Harlem on 171st St located in the Olde Tinley Library).

A Private Interment at Cedar Park Cemetery in Calumet City will follow. For information please call 708-781-9212.
