Margaret Kay Osburn, 62, of Alvin passed away on December 5, 2018 after a valiant fight against cancer. Margaret began her life journey on May 10, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri when she was born to Ralph and Maybelle (Oldham) Lindsey. She lived her lifetime, between Missouri and Texas, and had just moved back to Texas in October to be near her children.

Margaret loved decorating for each holiday season. For Halloween she would don her witch costume and dress up for the kids. At Christmastime she would have the house decked out and was meticulous about her tree.

She enjoyed good food and loved to cook for herself and others. She loved riding horses and loved riding her horse Ribbon and she won many 4H events on when she was younger. She also loved butterflies and cowboys (and not the football team…).

She and her sister Mary were best riding partners. She and her sister Linda had a very close bond and they looked after one another. Margaret was brought home to Texas to live out the rest of her life as she wanted, with her kids and grand kids, which made her smile and laugh.

Other than spending time with her family, er favorite place to be was sitting in her wicker rocker on the front porch, with her dogs on her lap. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Maybelle Lindsey and her sisters: Linda Duckett and Donna Chastine. Left to remember her are her children: Angela Gutierrez and husband Robert, Jessy Pugh, Shawn Pugh, and Trent Elder; siblings: Mary Champion and husband Steve, and William “Skip” Lindsey and wife Claire; grandchildren: Jerrett Kainer, Courtney Kainer, Leila Vaillecillo, and Dominic Vaillecillo; and numerous other family members and friends.
