Obituary for Margaret Rael 1924-2018 Margaret Rael, age 94, a resident of El Cerro, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday June 30, 2018. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by all her family. Margaret’s sense of humor was unsurpassed and she always had the ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable.

Her faith in the Lord was everything to her and she always turned to him in good times and in bad. Even though our hearts grieve for her, we know that she is safely in the arms of Jesus. Margaret knew so many people and touched so many hearts.

Everyone loved her dearly. She will truly be missed by all. Margaret was proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years, Nabor, one daughter, Veronica, her son-in-law David Gallegos and four grandsons; Danny Romero, Josh Romero, Charles Thomas Rael and Johnny Castleberry.

Margaret is survived by four sons; Benny (Melda), Sammy (Janice), Rudy (Stella) and Ernest Rael. Seven daughters; Marcella (Pete Horney), Fita Rael, Lucy (Jesus) Romero, Corine (Chano) Romero, Norma (CB) Salazar, Elsie Gallegos (Arturo) and Dolores (Juilo Martinez). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 17 great, great grandchildren.

We will forever be grateful for the love, devotion and support she gave each and every one of us throughout our lives. Services will take place at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley on Friday, July 6, 2018, with a Visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, and a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at a later date.
