Memorial Services for Margaret (Wangen) Satter Peterson, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 31, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Chaplain Todd Walsh will officiate. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, rural Albert Lea at a later date.

Margaret died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at ThorneCrest Retirement Community Albert Lea. She was born on November 19, 1924, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Charles and Ananda (Tufte) Wangen. She graduated from Albert Lea High School and then worked at Wilson & Co. all of her life until retiring.

She married Wesley W. Satter, he died suddenly in November of 1957, and her only child Leslie was born in March of 1958. In 1980, Margaret married Robert “Bob” Peterson, he preceded her in death in 2012. In earlier years Margaret had enjoyed bowling and she also enjoyed the being active in the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Margaret is survived by her brother-in-law Melvin Stoa of LaPorte, MN; and many nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Wes Satter and Bob Peterson, her daughter Leslie Ann Satter and three brothers and two sisters.
