OBITUARY Margaret Scott November 10, 1935 – January 20, 2019 Margaret (Peggy) Scott of Scarsdale passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Peggy was born in New York City on November 10, 1935 to the late Patrick D. and Delia Madden Horan. After her marriage to her husband, Harold, they moved to Scarsdale.

They also wintered in Naples, Florida for many years. Peggy was a member of the Scarsdale Woman’s Club and had served as its President from 1982 – 1984. She was also a past President of the Westchester County Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Peggy was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and a member of St. Veronica’s Guild. Mrs. Scott is predeceased by her husband, Harold and is survived by her sister, Jane Horan. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale.

Interment is at Holy Mount Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes in Scarsdale on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
