Margaret M. Woj, age 82, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Halifax Health Hospice, Port Orange. Born in South Amboy, New Jersey to Frank and Anna Gorczyca Walczak, Margaret came to the area in 1990’s from Brick, New Jersey. A homemaker, Margaret was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women and was very active in the church.

A very loving and giving person, Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Until recently, she played golf, tennis and enjoyed playing cards. Margaret will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Debra (Tony) Mondoro, of Holmdel, New Jersey and Carolyn (Don) Cox of Rockville, Maryland; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Woj of Phillipsburg, New Jersey; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother, James (Jean) Walczak of Brick, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years, Edward R., son, Edward F. Woj, sister, Ann Marie Nebus and brother, Frank Walczak. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 23 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with the Reverend Patrick Quinn, T.O. R. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to the Council of Catholic Women, 4000 S. Atlantic Ave. , New Smyrna Beach, FL 32129.
